An Emirati humanitarian delegation, led by the Emirates Red Crescent, the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, launched an initiative to distribute food parcels to Sudanese refugees in Amdjarass, Chad.
Food parcels, containing essential needs were donated to the refugees.
The initiative aims to support refugees that have fled to Chad, after the conflict began in Sudan on 15 April.
The Emirati humanitarian team is assessing the situation in Chad, through field visits and observing their living conditions, to provide the essentials required to support the refugees.
