The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has announced that the temperatures in the UAE are expected to rise.
Temperatures over the past few weeks have varied from 35ºC to 42ºC and this weekend, a surge is expected, closer to 50ºC.
Humidity levels are also set to increase, with fog experienced by many during the early hours of the day.
The weather will be fair to party cloudy and dusty at times, with temperatures gradually increasing on Thursday, 6 July. Highs of 40ºC in Dubai and 41ºC in Abu Dhabi, and lows of 32ºC in Dubai and 31ºC in Abu Dhabi will be seen.
Temperatures will peak on Friday, 7 July and Saturday, 8 July, with fair to partly cloudy and dusty weather seen. Some areas will be humid in the morning and highs of 46ºC in Dubai and 47ºC in Abu Dhabi are expected, with lows of 34ºC in Dubai and 31ºC in Abu Dhabi.
A slight drop in temperatures is expected on Sunday, 9 July, with dusty weather and fair to partly cloudy skies. Highs of 44ºC in Dubai and 45ºC in Abu Dhabi and lows of 32ºC in Dubai and 30ºC in Abu Dhabi will be seen.
