Dubai Police Receives Over 109,000 Calls Over Eid Al Adha

Over the Eid Al Adha break from Tuesday, 27 June to Sunday, 2 July, Dubai Police received 109,005 calls.

Around 104,000 calls were made to the emergency number, 999, with 4,768 handled by the 901 Call Centre.

Additionally, 945 emails and 2,495 messages were received through the live chat service on the Dubai Police website.

Colonel Mohammed Abdullah Al Muhairi, Director of the Command and Control Centre at the General Department of Operations of Dubai Police said, "These communications involved a multitude of queries and suggestions from the public, all of which were responded to promptly and with a high degree of professionalism by the competent staff at the call centre."

Dubai Police advises the public to only use the 999 emergency line for emergencies and the 901 line for general enquiries.
