Scottish singer and songwriter Lewis Capaldi has announced a break from touring for the foreseeable future. The chart topping singer was due to take to the stage at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on 7 October this year, a performance already moved from a previously scheduled concert on 24th November 2022.
Lewis Capaldi performed at the UKs Galstonbury festival last weekend and needed support from the crowd in finishing off songs that he was unable to complete.
In an instagram post Lewis Capaldi said "the truth is I'm still learning to adjust to the impact of my Tourette's and on Saturday it became obvious that I need to spend much more time getting my mental and physical health in order".
Coca-Cola Arena has confirmed through Instagram that the concert is cancelled and announced that "All tickets will be automatically refunded to the same card used for the transaction." The refunds are expected to take up to 21 days.
