The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has announced that the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, hosted by the UAE in Dubai, has been moved to 15 to 25 February 2024.
The tournament was scheduled to take place from 16 to 26 November 2023.
The decision to move the dates was made during the 24th Council meeting, with the aim of ensuring the smooth flow of the tournament.
The UAE first hosted the tournament in 2009, making the 2024 event the second time it is held in the country.
During the event, 16 countries will face off to win the title, with Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Iran, Japan, Mexico, Oman, Senegal, United Arab Emirates and the USA, already securing their spots in the tournament.
