After a trial period during the first quarter of 2023, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has started operations of bikes and e-scooters in Hatta. Around 1,902 trips were recorded during the trial period.
The stations will be available at 11 tourist hotspots including the Hatta Heritage Village, near the Wadi Hatta Park, Hatta Hill Park, and Hatta Valley.
Visitors can explore the picturesque views of the mountains, for tracks spanning 11.5km. With the track, people can learn about Arab culture at Hatta Heritage Village, enjoy hiking or dining at cafeterias at Wadi Hatta Park, delight in green spaces with picnic spots at Hatta Hill Park and the Hatta Valley where guests can reside while visiting the mountainous area.
Around 250 e-scooters, 250 bikes and 150 mountain bikes will be available for riders looking to take the scenic route, while also being sustainable.
