His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai and Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Dubai Future Foundation, has launched the third phase of Dubai 10X initiative.
Dubai 10X will create innovative ideas for the future to enhance the quality of life in the public and private sectors.
The goal of the initiative is to place Dubai 10 years ahead of cities around the world.
First announced in 2017, the initiative will continue to update traditional policies and create a culture of change for employees.
Since its launch, 42 projects have been undertaken including Police without Policemen where smart cameras have been added for motion monitoring, smoke and intrusion detection, and Dubai Rest which offers a digital platform for real estate transactions.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan said, "Through the Dubai 10X initiative, we have succeeded in developing a new methodology for government processes, changing the mindset of our employees and achieving a quantum leap in how we work. We want to build on this positive change and take our success to a new level."
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan further added, "We share the outcomes of Dubai 10X with the world, including 42 innovative projects in various future-focused fields that were developed in the spirit of one team. This initiative embodies Dubai’s ambition to lead the world in government services driven by a foresight-focused mindset."
The initiative, with the date of its implementation to be announced shortly, will benefit individuals from the public and private sectors.
