The UAE Moon Sighting Committee is set to meet this weekend on Sunday, 18 June to announce the official start of Eid Al Adha.
According to the Emirates Astronomical Society (EAS), Arafat Day on 9 Dul Al Hijjah is expected on Tuesday, 27 June.
Eid Al Adha will start on 10 Dul Al Hijjah which is expected to fall on Wednesday, 28 June and running until 12 Dul Al Hijjah on Friday, 30 June.
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has announced that the holidays for the public sector will begin on 9 Dul Al Hijjah, marked as Arafat Day. Eid Al Adha will run from 10 Dul Al Hijjah until 12 Dul Al Hijjah.
