The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has announced that the UAE is ready to deal with any effects of the tropical cyclone, 'Biparjoy'.
During a meeting with the Weather and Tropical Conditions Joint Assessment Team, precautionary measures will be taken, and the movement of the tropical cyclone will be constantly assessed.
Further to the update on 7 June, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has reaffirmed that the tropical cyclone in the Arabia Sea will not affect the UAE.
There will be no effect on the UAE over the next four days.
Individuals are advised to not spread false rumours and only get their news from official channels.
The tropical cyclone 'Biparjoy' started near the Omani coast in the Arabian Sea, and is moving towards the north.
