The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has announced that the tropical storm forming in the Arabia Sea will not affect the UAE.
The storm 'Biparjoy' started near the Omani coast in the Arabian Sea, and is expected to move northwest.
Over the next two days, the storm will deepen with light winds expected. However, there will be no effect around the UAE coastline over the next five days.
NCM is also monitoring the storm and is advising the public to not spread false information.
