The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has announced that temperatures will continue to rise in the UAE, hitting 40s this week.
From Monday, 5 June to Thursday, 8 June, temperatures are expected to hit highs of 43ºC in Abu Dhabi, with lows of 30ºC on Monday, 5 June, to Wednesday, 7 June, and 29ºC on Thursday, 8 June. On Friday, 9 June, highs of 42ºC and lows of 27ºC will be seen.
Dubai will see highs of 41ºC on Monday, 5 June and Tuesday, 6 June, with lows of 30ºC on Monday, 5 June and 27ºC on Tuesday, 6 June. On Wednesday, 7 June, temperatures will hit highs of 43ºC and lows of 32ºC, and are expected to hit highs of 42ºC and lows of 30ºC on Thursday, 8 June. Highs of 37ºC and lows of 25ºC are expected on Friday, 9 June.
Cities on the border of Oman and Saudi Arabia will see temperatures ranging from 45ºC to 47ºC throughout the week, with lows from 28ºC to 31ºC.
