Sultan Al Neyadi, the Emirati astronaut, welcomed Saudi astronauts onboard the International Space Station (ISS).
On Monday, 22 May, Rayyanah Barnawi, the first Arab female astronaut and breast cancer researcher, and fighter pilot Ali Al Qarni, boarded the ISS after being launched on the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.
In a video shared on Twitter, Sultan Al Neyadi, along with other crew members, can be seen welcoming the Saudi astronauts aboard the ISS, and offering them dates.
The Saudi astronauts will spend eight days in space carrying out 14 different experiments.
