According to the Progress in International Reading Literacy Study 2021, Dubai private schools have ranked sixth in the world for reading skills.
The study is held every five years and assesses the reading skills of students in Grade 4.
The results show that private schools in Dubai scored 566, which is higher than the average of 500.
An increase of 76 points was noted in 2021, in comparison to a previous study done in 2011, which saw a score of 527.
A score of 631 points was given to schools that have been rated outstanding.
The data is collected by globally assessing 4,000 students from 150 to 200 schools in 57 countries.
