Expo City Dubai is offering visitors free entry to their flagship pavilions for one day only on Friday, 19 May, in celebration of International Museum Day.
Visitors will be able to explore all of Alif - The Mobility Pavilion, Terra - The Sustainability Pavilion, Women’s Pavilion, Vision Pavilion and the three Stories of Nations Pavilions, for free.
Highlighting how technology has progressed over the years, Alif - The Mobility Pavilion also gives a glimpse into what innovation can do to shape the future. On the day at Alif, visitors will be able to build robot hands in a Lego workshop.
Terra - The Sustainability Pavilion will screen films about the climate, in collaboration with the Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi, informative tours, storytelling sessions, physical theatre workshops and play-based learning on 19 May. Terra reminds visitors that there is only one planet and are reminded through interactive activities to help fight against climate change.
On Friday, the Women’s Pavilion and Vision Pavilion will host craft activities for all ages. As women play a vital role in contributing and giving back to society, the Women’s Pavilion highlights the history of women in shaping the world. The Vision Pavilion highlights the mission and dreams of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and showcases how Dubai transformed and established itself as a modern hub.
The Stories of Nations Pavilions shows the tales of the different countries that participated at Expo 2020 Dubai, with 80 items on display from artefacts, sculptures and more.
