Go Paperless With Emirates

Emirates is set to go paperless from Monday, 15 May, with passengers issued a digital boarding pass rather than a printed one.

After checking at Terminal 3, passengers will receive their digital boarding pass either via an SMS or email.

Passengers can also view their boarding passes through Apple Wallet, Google Wallet or the dedicated Emirates App.

The move is in line with reducing paper waste and making the travel process more seamless.

The digital passes can also be used throughout the journey, at Dubai Duty-Free, at security and for boarding, by scanning the QR code on the pass.

Passengers travelling with infants, unaccompanied minors, passengers requiring special assistance, passengers with flights onboard other airlines and all passengers travelling on flights to the United States will still require a printed ticket.

Emirates check-in counters will still provide printed tickets for passengers that do not have a phone or have an issue with their phone.
