Residents can now pay Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) bills through Samsung Pay.
The additional mode of payment will allow users to pay securely and with ease at their convenience via the DEWA App on their phones.
DEWA is the first government service to offer Samsung Pay and is in a move to make digital transactions accessible for all, with bill payments, activation of electricity and water while moving in, housing fees adjustment, refunds, updating trade licenses and more available through the App.
In 2022, over 10 million transactions were made to DEWA via digital channels.
