Two evacuation planes from Sudan have landed safely in the UAE.
The first flight saw Emirati citizens, along with nationals from 16 countries, make their way to the UAE.
Over 130 UAE citizens and nationals from 9 countries were brought back onboard the second evacuation flight.
The nationals from other countries that have been evacuated from Sudan will be given the required support and help while in the UAE, and will then be assisted in travelling back to their home countries.
The flights are in line with helping people in Sudan, where due to a conflict that started on 15 April between the Rapid Support Forces and the Sudanese Armed Forces, have led to people not having access to food, water and electricity, and fleeing the country for safety.
The UAE has also contributed over Dhs 183 million of humanitarian aid to help the people in Sudan.
