Final Weekend Of The Emirates Airline Festival Of Literature

The final weekend of the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature will take place this weekend and will close on 13 February.

With the final weekend features a wide variety of events and workshops across different genres.

Joining virtually are 'Bridgerton' author Julia Quinn, 'House of Gucci' author 'Sara Gay Forden', 'Chernobyl 1986' author Serhii Plokhy and master thriller writer David Baldacci.

Children can enjoy Layne Redman's book on his adventure stories, Ben Bailey Smith along with illustrator and author Sav Akyus with 'Bear Moves' to show kids how to have a dance, Elizabeth Acevedo with a young adult novel 'Clap when You Land' and many more.

Additionally on Friday, enjoy a 'Monster Under Your Bed' drawing workshop, screenings of Stephen King’s 'Christine' and Emirati horror movie 'Grandma’s Farm 2' and the 'Greta and the Ghosthunters' session for children.

On Saturday and Sunday, NASA astronaut Nicole Stott will talk about her experiences with Hazzaa Al Mansoori and Sultan Al Neyadi, astronauts from the UAE.

Italian Masterchef Alessandro Borghese will also host a food dinner and Dr Rupy Aujla, bestselling author of 'The Doctor’s Kitchen' and 'Eat to Beat Illness', will explain how to create healthy and tasty recipes for better mental and physical health.
