Roll Racing DXB
Where: Dubai Autodrome
When: 24 April

Roll Racing DXB takes drag racing off the streets and into a safe, controlled environment which ensures maximum fun for all participants. The concept is simple: you race against another vehicle from a rolling start of 80kph, heading onto the main straight and then 400 metres of pure exhilaration, pitting yourself against another driver. Roll Racing DXB is open to both cars and SUVs, battling it out on Dubai Autodrome’s flood-lit main straight. Entry costs Dhs 420 per person.

Driver must hold a valid driving license from the UAE or other countries and must bring their own car. All street-legal cars and SUVs are allowed to enter. Open-wheel race cars are not allowed and no extreme modifications must be made on the vehicle compromising the safety of the overall vehicle. All drivers must wear a crash helmet and suitable sports shoes. All cars must pass technical inspection before participation. Registration will start from 7.30pm.

Candlelight Concert

Candlelight concerts bring the magic of a live, multi-sensory musical experience to awe-inspiring locations like never seen before in Dubai. The finest classical and contemporary compositions come alive amid thousands of flickering candles. X Fest is a 10-minute play theatre festival in Dubai, created by The Junction in Alserkal Avenue. The event brings actors, writers, and directors together for short plays performed live on stage. City Nature Challenge Dubai is a free event, which lets you explore the wildlife living alongside us and record it using the iNaturalist app. Led by Terra at Expo City Dubai, the challenge is part of a global citizen science movement taking place in hundreds of cities around the world.

No experience is needed. Just head outside, spot any wild plant, animal or fungus, take a photo, and upload it. Every observation contributes to real biodiversity data used by scientists and researchers, helping build a better understanding of the natural world around us.
