The famous American rock band, 'The Beach Boys', will perform their first-ever concert in Dubai, celebrating 60 years of their iconic album 'Pet Sounds' at Coca-Cola Arena on 11 June.
'The Beach Boys' have sold over 100 million records worldwide and have received more than 33 platinum and gold record awards. The 'Rock And Roll Hall of Famers' were also honoured at the 2001 Grammy Awards with the Lifetime Achievement Award. With more than five decades of touring under their belts, 'The Beach Boys' have performed more concerts than any major rock band in history.
As for the evening, expect a set list packed with classics like 'Surfin’ USA', 'California Girls', 'Wouldn’t It Be Nice', 'Sloop John B', 'Fun, Fun, Fun' and 'Good Vibrations'. The band marks over six decades of music, including their first hit, 'Surfin'' from 1961.
Following the recent passing of co-founder Brian Wilson, 'The Beach Boys' are now led by Mike Love. Alongside musical director Brian Eichenberger, plus Christian Love, Tim Bonhomme, Jon Bolton, Keith Hubacher, Randy Leago, John Wedemeyer, and Chris Cron, they carry forward the band's legendary legacy.
