The Tanweer Festival is making its much-awaited return to the golden sands of Mleiha, Sharjah, on 21 to 23 November, promising a one-of-a-kind celebration of music, art and nature.

This year’s edition brings together some of the world’s most celebrated artists for three unforgettable days under the desert sky. Headlining the opening night is Grammy Award and Academy Award-winning composer A.R. Rahman, who will fill the dunes with his genre-defying fusion of Indian classical, Sufi and orchestral music, a performance that promises to be nothing short of magical.

Singer Aya Khalaf will also take the stage on the opening night, sharing the soul of Palestinian heritage through her moving vocals before Rahman’s grand performance.

Day two will continue the festival’s global rhythm with Grammy Award-nominated sitarist and composer Anoushka Shankar, and also the ensemble Miraz Group.

Acclaimed Iranian musicians Sohrab Pournazeri and Sahar Boroujerdi will perform on the third night, along with Tunisian singer Emel Mathlouthi, creating a seamless blend of tradition and innovation.

Set against Mleiha’s breathtaking desert landscape, this year's Tanweer Festival promises a transformative experience, where culture, creativity, and connection meet under the stars. Tickets start from Dhs 400 onwards. For more details, visit Tanweer Festival's official website.
