If you received a traffic fine between 1 January and 2 December 2017 and haven’t already taken advantage of this generous offer, this is the last week to get it done!
In the spirit of the Year of Giving and initiated on December 1st on the eve of UAE National Day, the Dubai Police had granted a 50% discount on all traffic fines and car confiscation fees on commercial, private, and other vehicles.
You still have one more week to pay the fees with the discount and can do so on regular Dubai Police platforms as well as their electronic systems. Once you input your information, you should see an automatic reduction of your fee.
Director General of the traffic department, Brigadier Saif Muhair Al Masrouei said the 50% discount was also initiated as an effort to the reduce the mass amount of accumulated fees and violations.
Mark your calendars and put a reminder on your phone because the official end date of the offer is 1 March.
