Back for its eighth year, keep an eye out for a pink coloured mobile clinic providing women free check-ups for breast and cervical cancer.
This incredibly unique caravan is just for women and has been providing the free mammogram service across the UAE since 2011. To date it has had over 400 riders, worked with 455 medical clinics and provided examination for 41,391 people. In 2016 the University Hospital Sharjah collaborated with the Pink Caravan to inaugurate the Sharjah Breast Care Centre, all part of initiatives in the UAE for early cancer detection.
