Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, on Monday visited Gulfood 2018, the food and beverage trade show, held at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
Accompanied by Helal Saeed Almarri, CEO of Dubai World Trade Centre, Sheikh Hamdan toured the 23rd edition of the world’s largest annual food and beverage exhibition.
Launched in 1987 in Dubai, Gulfood has attracted some 5,000 exhibitors from 120 countries this year. The exhibitors showcasing their products and services eye a share of the multi-billion dollar MENA food and beverage market.
The event also hosts the world's biggest annual halal food sourcing trade show-in-show in Halal World Food as well as the annual Emirates Culinary Guild International Salon.
