In a city of superlatives, here comes another one ... Dubai is set to open the world’s next tallest hotel, Gevora, tomorrow on 12 February. The hotel structure consists of 75 floors and measure 356 meters (1,167.98 feet) in height. Located on Sheikh Zayed Road near the DIFC cluster and with the Emirates Towers as neighbours, it will have 528 guest rooms and suites and four restaurants when it opens.
The hotel should take over the crown of the tallest hotel from JW Marriott Marquis Hotel just down Sheikh Zayed Road which measures 355 meters (1,165 feet) in height.
The new hotel promises to “boast the best of Middle Eastern hospitality and exclusivity” while leisure options will include a pool, jacuzzi and health club as well as a luxury spa on the 71st floor.
It will be officially opened by owner Majid Al Attar.
