Dubai Tour started this week and has taken over Dubai roads as cyclists give it their all in this huge competition. The Tour was granted a special visit by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Sheikh Mohammed watched the cyclists race through Al Maroum Natural Reserve which is also home to UAE’s longest cycling path at 100 km. His Highness expressed his happiness at the growth of sports across the country which has also given Emirati and Arab youth a chance to compete with athletes from around the world.
Especially with the presence of UAE’s own national team cycling it out, Dubai and UAE residents are proud of our homegrown athletes.
