Who doesn’t absolutely love Global Village? With its array of delicious dining opportunities, spectacular live shows, and 27 pavilions capturing the culture and heritage of countries from all over the world. It is fair to say almost all Dubai residents have visited Global Village at least once.
On Saturday, it had a very special visitor as His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai explored the popular attraction, now in it's 22nd season.
Among the many things to see and do, Sheikh Mohammed stopped by a number of pavilions including Kuwait, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, India, Thailand, and of course the UAE pavilion which offers true and authentic Emirati culture and heritage.
At the end of his tour Sheikh Mohammed visited the Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Centre and stopped by kiosks supported by Dubai SME.
It’s not unusual to see Sheikh Mohammed visit all the popular spots around Dubai, we’re just glad to see him at one of our favourites.
