Amidst the ongoing geopolitical tensions, a whole lot of tourists are still stranded in the UAE. Thousands of passengers were stranded after multiple airlines suspended operations due to airspace closures caused by regional tensions involving Iran.

Although a few airlines have resumed partial operations, some tourists remain stranded in the UAE. While the government is covering accommodation and food costs for passengers stranded in airports, medical facilities remain a big concern for stranded passengers.

However, to help the situation and assist stranded passengers in Dubai, Prague Clinics located in Nad Al Sheba has introduced a new medical assistance program aimed at providing fast and reliable healthcare. The initiative is available for stranded tourists, aviation crew, as well as residents who may be facing additional challenges during the current situation.

The Dubai-based clinic has set up a comprehensive system to help patients receive medical attention without delays. Services include urgent consultations, telemedicine sessions, home doctor visits, and repeat prescription assistance, available directly at hotels or other locations across the city.

Dr. Olga, Co-Founder of Prague Clinics, explained: “Travel disruptions can be extremely stressful, particularly when someone feels unwell or runs out of their regular medication while away from home. Our goal is to ensure that people in Dubai can access professional medical care without worry. We want travellers and residents to know that we are open and ready to help. Whether someone needs a tele-consultation, a home visit, or an appointment at the clinic, our team is here to support patients and their families during this time, however and wherever they need us.”

Since the program’s launch, Prague Clinics has already assisted over 100 patients, ensuring that those unwell or without access to their regular medication can obtain timely care. In some cases of genuine financial hardship, the clinic has even offered its services free of charge.

For appointments or more information, patients can visit Prague Clinics website or call 04 5580540.
