Dubai Police have warned the public against sharing rumours and false information amid the ongoing US–Israel conflict with Iran, now in its fourth day. Authorities stressed that circulating unverified content contradicting official announcements, or that could cause public panic or threaten safety, order, or public health, is a violation of UAE law.

Those found guilty may face criminal penalties, including imprisonment and a fine of at least Dhs 200,000.
