Dubai Police have announced the locations for the traditional iftar cannon firing ahead of the Holy Month of Ramadan. The long-standing Ramadan custom marks sunset and the end of the daily fast. The iconic cannon continues to bring together families and communities across the city each year.
This year, Dubai Police will be firing the traditional cannons in six fixed locations across the city. These include:
- Burj Khalifa
- Expo City Dubai (main cannon site)
- DAMAC Hills
- Dubai Festival City
- Jumeirah Beach Residence
- Vida Creek Harbour Hotel
In addition, 17 mobile cannons will also visit community and tourist locations across Dubai. The locations include:
- Burj Khalifa
- Global Village
- Atlantis Hotel
- Dubai Parks And Resorts
- JBR
- Nad Al Sheba Majlis
- Margham
- Lahbab
- Al Khawaneej Majlis
- Marasi Boulevard
- Al Warqa
- Meydan Hotel
- One And Only Za’abeel
- Umm Suqeim Majlis
- Bab Al Shams Hotel
- Vida Creek Harbour
- Al Barsha Park
