In the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sobha Realty, the real estate company, has announced a landmark Dhs 500 million contribution to establish an endowment dedicated to supporting the Arab Reading Challenge.

All the proceeds from this endowment will be directed toward expanding the Arab Reading Challenge’s programmes, from reading competitions and cultural projects to Arabic-language preservation and youth education initiatives.

The contribution also enhances the mission of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), the philanthropic organisation behind the Arab Reading Challenge, to empower new generations to carry forward the Arab civilisation through educational and cultural empowerment. Sobha Realty's partnership with MBRGI therefore supports the wider academic and professional ambitions of Arab youth, especially those who wish to pursue knowledge in sciences and arts.
