Over 150 Amazon Recycling Spots Now Open In Dubai

Amazon

There's a new way to recycle your Amazon delivery materials in the city! Amazon UAE has launched a new packaging recycling initiative in Dubai, with over 150 drop-off points now open across the city. The initiative aims to reduce waste sent to landfills and encourage residents to take action on sustainability.

Customers can recycle a wide range of packaging materials, including cardboard boxes, plastic bags, bubble-lined envelopes and packing paper. These materials will be recycled and then reused in sustainable ways. Drop-off points are strategically located in residential and commercial areas across Dubai, including community villas and town houses, making recycling more accessible than ever. To see the list of drop-off locations in Dubai, visit Amazon.ae's official page.

Furthermore, each Amazon.ae package now also features a QR code that links to the Amazon Second Chance page, which provides information on recycling options, electronic waste disposal and product reuse programs.

Developed in collaboration with Enviroserve, a certified recycling partner of Dubai Municipality and Ministry of Environment, the packaging recycling initiative supports the UAE’s Green Agenda 2030 and Amazon’s global pledge to reach net-zero carbon by 2040.
