Clean UAE campaign, the nationwide initiative sees thousands of volunteers, students, corporates, and community members uniting each year to promote environmental awareness, recycling, and sustainability through large-scale clean-up activities and educational events.
The Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) has announced the launch of the twenty fourth edition of the Clean UAE campaign, set to take place from 6 to 16 December this year, under the patronage of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment.
The campaign will kick off in Dubai on 6 December, before travelling across the emirates: Fujairah on 8 December, Sharjah on 10 December, Ajman on 11 December, Umm Al Quwain on 13 December, Ras Al Khaimah on 15 December and concluding in Abu Dhabi on 16 December.
Organisers note that the initiative not only focusses on cleaning up natural spaces but also strengthens public awareness around pollution control, waste reduction and community engagement.
Participating organisations will also take part in tree-planting and sustainability activities, reinforcing the campaign’s long-term environmental impact. EEG has called on businesses, schools, and individuals to join the movement and contribute to a cleaner, greener UAE.
