The UAE leaders have extended heartfelt Diwali greetings to the Indian community and millions celebrating the 'festival of lights' around the world.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, conveyed his greetings, saying, “Best wishes to all those celebrating Diwali in the UAE and around the world. May the coming year bring peace, health, and prosperity to you and your loved ones.” His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed also shared a message in Hindi, further reflecting the UAE’s close cultural and community ties with India.
Meanwhile His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also shared a message on social media, writing, “Warmest wishes and greetings to those celebrating Diwali in the UAE and around the world. May this festival of lights bring peace, safety and prosperity to you and your loved ones”.
The warm gestures come as vibrant Diwali celebrations light up homes and landmarks across the country, symbolising unity, renewal and the enduring friendship between the UAE and its diverse communities.
