The UAE’s food and beverage community is once again coming together for a powerful cause. Dubai Cares has announced the return of its annual 'Taste of Giving' campaign, a month-long initiative that turns dining out into an act of compassion.
Launched on World Food Day on 16 October and running until 16 November, the campaign invites restaurants, cafés, and food brands across the UAE to donate a portion of their proceeds to Dubai Cares’ global school feeding programs. Each Dirham raised helps provide nutritious meals to children in need, ensuring they can learn and thrive. Those who dine out at the participating venues during this period will, implicitly, be contributing to the cause.
Amal Al Redha, Director of Partnerships at Dubai Cares said, "No child should have to choose between food and an education. A school meal is more than just nourishment, it’s the promise of focus, dignity, and a chance to thrive. When children are nourished, they can learn, grow, and build a brighter future. We are deeply grateful to the restaurants, food manufacturers, and F-and-B brands that have stepped forward, and we invite the entire UAE community to join us. By simply dining out or choosing products from participating brands, you are strengthening our efforts to bring school meals to children who need them most".
The campaign’s 2025 edition features a diverse lineup of partners, including Al Beiruti, Americana Foods, bkry, Burro Blanco, Maestro Pizza, Minus Eighteen, Risen Café, The Maine, and all tashas Group restaurants, among others.
