Zayed National Museum will officially open to the public on 3 December, marking a major cultural milestone for Abu Dhabi and the UAE.

Located at Saadiyat Cultural District in Abu Dhabi, the museum tells the story of the nation’s history and pays tribute to the vision and values of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founding Father of the UAE.

Visitors will be able to explore more than 3,000 historical objects, with around 1,500 pieces on display, including archaeological finds, traditional artefacts, and personal items connected to the UAE’s past. The museum will also feature interactive exhibits, videos and installations that bring these stories to life.

Designed by award-winning architect Lord Norman Foster, the museum takes visitors on a journey through time, from the region’s earliest civilisations to its modern achievements.

Opening day celebrations will include cultural performances, workshops, guided tours, and family-friendly activities. Tickets are now available online on their official website.
