The UAE Ministry of Education is redefining the future of learning with a powerful showcase of artificial intelligence (AI) innovations at GITEX GLOBAL 2025, held from 13 to 17 October at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Under the theme 'Shaping a Skill-Driven Future', the Ministry’s participation underscores its commitment to integrating AI across the education system and nurturing the next generation of tech-savvy learners.
The Ministry is unveiling several pioneering projects that merge technology and creativity to transform classroom experiences. Among them is the 'Learning Companion', an AI-powered platform that allows teachers to create tailored lesson plans and interactive materials that adapt to each student’s learning style. It converts traditional teaching material into innovative digital strategies that are tailored to each learner's needs.
The 'AI Ethics Platform', meanwhile, introduces children aged 7 to 10 years old to responsible technology use through virtual role-play and scenario-based learning.
Also drawing attention is the 'Language Assistant Robot', developed with the Emirates College for Advanced Education. The multilingual robot uses natural voice interaction and smart tracking to enhance language learning in engaging, conversational ways.
Adding a creative edge, student-led projects are also unveiled at GITEX GLOBAL 2025 under the 'Future Makers' theme, to demonstrate how innovation led by youth can address real-world challenges. Highlights include the 'Desert Conqueror Robot', a solar-powered AI solution for sustainable agriculture, and 'RoboFold', a LEGO-based robot that folds fabrics using AI precision.
