The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, organised with the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) and Dubai Sports Council, will be held from 3 to 20 October in Dubai and Sharjah. The tournament details were announced at a press conference on 11 September, attended by ICC Chief Executive Geoff Allardice, ECB Board Member Zaid Abbas, and Khaled Al Awar from the Dubai Sports Council.

And you know what the best part is? The event is FREE for those under 18 and tickets will start from Dhs 5. ICC Chief Executive Geoff Allardice said, "One of the exciting things about the UAE is its diversity. It’s a place where the entire world is represented! This means that this is effectively a home World Cup for all 10 teams and players can enjoy the support of passionate fans. With that in mind, I’m delighted to announce that tickets will be available from just Dhs 5 and under 18s will go free."

To celebrate the announcement, the ICC also shared a video of a dazzling laser show projected onto the iconic Burj Khalifa.
