The UAE President Mourns Passing Of Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan

The Presidential Court has mourned Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who passed away on Thursday, 9 May. 

In its statement, the Presidential Court extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies on the demise of Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, praying to Allah Almighty to shower the deceased with his vast mercy, grant him eternal paradise and provide his family and relatives with patience and solace.

Family members of the Al Nahyan family, alongside senior officials and a gathering of mourners, conducted the funeral prayer for the late Sheikh Hazza at the Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed First Mosque in Abu Dhabi.

Following the funeral prayer, the body of Sheikh Hazza was laid to rest at Al Bateen Cemetery in Abu Dhabi.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, also took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to offer his condolences. 

The cause of Sheikh Hazza's passing was not disclosed. Known for his prowess as a horse rider, Sheikh Hazza was the son of Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who passed away in 2019.
