Father's Day is celebrated annually in most countries around the world on the third Sunday of June, which this year falls on 21 June.

Sonora visited multiple stores, centres and churches trying to make the date official and which led to it being celebrated on 10 June that year.
Since then, the holiday has spread widely, with many people marking the third Sunday of June as Father's Day.
