The Michelin Guide, known around the world for offering a guide to some of the best restaurants to dine in, will now launch in Dubai.
The Dubai Michelin Guide will launch in June and will feature the first selection of restaurants.
With Dubai being a hub for tourism and home to many nationalities, the guide will feature a variety of different cuisines to dine at in the city.
The restaurants are judged on the basis of five criteria, quality of the ingredients, mastery of the cooking, the balance of flavours, the personality of the chef throughout the cuisine and the consistency of the menu as well as the cooking at various times.
The Michelin stars have a range of distinctions, with one star awarded to restaurants with high-quality cooking that is worth a stop, two stars for excellent cooking that is worth the detour and three stars are awarded for exceptional cooking that is worth a trip to the restaurant.
The guide is currently present in 35 destinations including Paris, Hong Kong, Seoul, Italy, Germany and more with Dubai soon to be added to the roster.
The 2022 Dubai Michelin Guide will be available via the Michelin Guide website or through the app.
