A new premium salon, VK Beauty Lounge and Bar, has opened its doors in Dubai's JBR. The salon focuses on hair, make-up and nails, and has a team of European experts with experience of more than 10 years.

Led by Greek celebrity stylist Katerina Kotsoni, who sat me down in the comfortable lounge to explain everything about the Keratin treatment I was about to experience. Katerina carefully examined my hair quality and advised me that my hair would need 45 grammes of Keratin. The salon charges per each gram of the product used and does not believe in charging huge amounts to a girl who has thin and short hair.
Stylist Katerina, a humble and talented expert first took me to the wash area where they have installed an exclusive Takara Belmont hydraulic smart chair, which-allows you to lie flat and enjoy full back and neck support throughout your hair wash.
After the hair wash, the Keratin treatment began and as a policy, Katerina showed me the product - Keratin Complex, and poured it in a bowl in front of me measuring the exact quantity needed.
The whole treatment took around three hours, and the stylist was giving attention to detail. Throughout the treatment, I could sense that I was in safe hands. The results were magical. The hair was no longer frizzy and wavy but shiny and smooth. Not geometrically straight-but flowy and naturally straight. The last step involved visiting the salon after 72 hours for the final touch.
