A university in Dubai has announced a shift to distance learning immediately after the spring break, as the UAE continues to grapple with security concerns linked to the conflict in the region.
Middlesex University Dubai confirmed that all teaching and learning will take place online from Monday, 23 March to Sunday, 5 April. This is the first higher-education institution in the country to spell out its post-break academic plan.
The move is framed as a precautionary measure to safeguard students and staff while maintaining academic continuity.
