Dubai Police has launched a new Lawyers Platform, allowing legal professionals to complete paperwork and follow up on their cases 24/7 without visiting police stations.
The platform, accessible through the Dubai Police website using a secure UAE Pass login, was unveiled on Tuesday, 20 January, during a press conference.
The platform offers seven specialised digital legal services designed to simplify procedures, speed up transactions, and enhance the customer experience for lawyers and legal consultants.
The services include:
- Linking powers of attorney to officially represent clients in registered cases
- Electronic signing of powers of attorney in a secure and approved digital format
- Good Conduct Search Certificate to support the lifting of circulars after legal and financial settlement
- Filing criminal complaints on behalf of clients after identity verification and agency linkage
- Issuance of To Whom It May Concern certificates related to specific cases or procedures
- Permits for virtual visits with detainees or inmates held in Dubai
- Enquiry about circulars and travel bans with direct digital payment and case closure through the service
Lawyers can access the platform 24/7 through the Dubai Police website to submit documents and follow up on requests, eliminating the need to visit police stations. Each registered lawyer is provided with a personalised digital dashboard to manage cases, consultants, and client-related requests.
The platform also features Dubai Police AIX, a smart digital advisor that provides accurate guidance on services, reports, and enquiries, offering a more advanced experience than traditional chat systems.
