Welsh rock legends Stereophonics have cancelled their 29 October Dubai concert at Coca-Cola Arena after frontman Kelly Jones was advised not to travel due to a medical condition.
Event organisers Coca-Cola Arena and Live Nation Middle East confirmed the news on social media, explaining that Jones was medically unfit to fly. The cancellation affects the band’s scheduled shows in Dubai as well as in Australia.
In a personal message shared with fans, Jones expressed his disappointment over the decision, revealing that he was suffering from a displaced jaw joint. It was also noted that while healing and physiotherapy is ongoing at the moment, the UK tour in December is still expected to go ahead as planned.
Organisers have assured fans that refunds will be processed within 21 days for all ticket holders.
