The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has launched an AI-powered HR Assistant designed to transform the way federal government employees access services and support.
Serving more than 50,000 employees, the new system reflects the UAE’s vision of utilising artificial intelligence to enhance government efficiency and deliver smooth, future-ready employee experiences.
In its first phase, the AI Assistant provides 108 services, automates around 80% of employee self-service HR tasks, and responds instantly to 80% of enquiries related to HR legislation. By doing so, it is expected to save nearly 170,000 working hours every year in technical and legal HR support.
The platform uses advanced AI Agents technology, which allows it to execute tasks, process procedures, and answer questions on behalf of employees. By drawing on data from the federal HR system Bayanati, it delivers accurate, personalised responses through both written and voice-based interactions, in Arabic and English, without the need for human intervention.
Employees can access the AI Assistant anytime and anywhere through FAHR’s website or the FAHR smart app, ensuring convenience and flexibility.
