How would you describe your teaching style?
I am interactive; I like to motivate kids to be active learners. I believe this makes them more eager to learn.
Why did you decide to become a teacher?
I wanted to be able to share my ideas and knowledge in Math. I believe teaching is the most noble profession. Without teachers, there would be no professionals.
Your best moment as a teacher
My best moments are when I see my students excel and enjoy what they are doing.
Your worst moment
I do not really have any bad moments, but I do have challenging moments!
One sentence of advice to parents?
Children have different talents and capabilities. Try to understand what they like and do not compare them with others. Bring out their potential to the fullest.
One sentence of advice to someone wanting to enter the profession?
Whatever you do, listen to your heart and do your best. Love your work.
What would your life quote be?
Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember, involve me and I learn.
A funny story from the classroom?
One of my small students used to come in with her teddy bear. One day, the student came without the bear and I asked her where teddy was; she answered, “It’s winter and he’s hibernating!”
