Keratin treatments are a popular option for obtaining smoother, straighter and silkier hair and can work wonders in restoring damaged strands back to health. Peter Hair Lounge uses the Cadiveu Professional line which includes the Brasil Cacau Keratin, which differs from many conventional Keratin treatments, in that you can wash and style your hair the same day as opposed to waiting a few days.
What’s involved?
Peter analysed my hair to determine which keratin product was best suited to my hair type. My hair was washed with a clarifying shampoo to remove excess oil and the Brasil Cacau Keratin, the product most suitable for my hair from the selection, was applied and left in for 30 minutes. My hair was then dried on a low heat and flat ironed to lock in the product, avoiding over processing the ends, which takes about an hour. Following that, my hair was rinsed and a deep conditioning mask was applied for five minutes. After a final rinse, my treatment was topped off with a sleek blow-dry.
What are the results?
Fabulous, shiny, silky, healthy looking hair with natural looking ends. Mine actually looked two inches longer and is now so easy to style, or just leave naturally without the frizz.

Keratin treatments start from Dhs 1,000 depending on hair length.
