Dubai Police handled more than 1.3 million calls through its Command-and-Control Centre during the second quarter of 2026, answering 99.8% of emergency calls within 10 seconds and comfortably surpassing its official 97% target.
Patrol coverage reached 98.8% across police station jurisdictions during the three-month reporting period, exceeding the force's 97% operational benchmark. The figures were disclosed during the General Department of Operations' second-quarter performance review meeting, chaired by senior police leadership.
Operational readiness and patrol deployment strategies were key factors behind the response times. To assess ongoing service quality, the department operates a "mystery shopper" system, following up with members of the public post-service to gauge satisfaction levels and refine operational workflows.
The force is also expanding its deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) across emergency management. This step aligns with the Dubai Government directive to transition 50% of administrative and operational processes into AI-supported systems.
