UAE Sends Five More Planes Carrying Equipments For Gaza Field Hospital

WAM

Under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, the UAE has set up a fully equipped Emirati field hospital in the Gaza Strip. And now, the UAE has dispatched an additional five aircraft loaded with supplies and equipment to aid in the establishment of a field hospital in the Gaza Strip. This brings the total number of aircraft sent as part of the UAE's Gallant Knight 3 humanitarian operation to 16.

The cargo from these aircraft will be offloaded in the Egyptian city of El Arish, where all the equipment, supplies, and necessities needed for setting up and running the UAE field hospital will be gathered and organised.

Over the last two days, the UAE has initiated an air bridge to transport the hospital equipment as a component of the UAE's Gallant Knight 3 humanitarian mission, aligning with the nation's commitment to easing the hardships of the Palestinian population and reinforcing the healthcare infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, which is currently grappling with extraordinary and unstable conditions.

This initiative demonstrates the UAE's longstanding commitment to supporting and standing in solidarity with the Palestinian people, especially during the difficult circumstances they are currently encountering.

The UAE has previously declared assistance to the Palestinian people, including $20 million in urgent aid. They have also initiated a program to bring around 1,000 Palestinian children from Gaza, along with their families, for medical treatment in UAE hospitals.
